For Our Community

Training Centre

The Palladium Hotel Group is committed to development and prosperity. We have designed vocational training centres in Brazil, Mexico and Jamaica to give our local communities the chance to train for a career. These centres pave the way for talented local people to get the training they need and find a job, contributing to a positive change in combatting unemployment and poverty.

Combatting unemployment and poverty

  • Brazil: In 2005 we started the Imbassaí Institute, which has given hundreds of disadvantaged people the chance to receive training and find a job. The institute also supports and implements both social and environmental projects.
  • Costa Mujeres, Mexico: In 2024, in partnership with Fundación Origen, we inaugurated the Palladium Cares Center in the continental area of Isla Mujeres in Mexico. This center offers free training to develop job skills, facilitating access to better employment opportunities. We provide training programs in various fields aimed at young people, children, and families. We also organize recreational, social, and health-related activities to promote well-being, personal and professional development, and contribute to reducing poverty and inequality.
  • Jamaica: We signed a tripartite collaboration agreement with the Municipality of Lucea and the Heart Institution, a national organization which provides and certifies professional training. Seven centers have been opened to offer courses related to hospitality, 20 students completed internships at our hotels, and they graduated on December 10, 2024.
