Conservation and Release of Sea Turtles
The sea turtles and waters of Jamaica are protected by the 1972 Wildlife Protection Act. From May to December, endangered sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs, particularly on Las Brisas Beach. During the nesting season, Palladium Hotel Group team members help find and protect the nests while also assisting in the later release of the turtles.
